We spray cherries in terms depending on the phase of development of the tree , i.e. the phenological period. Thereforethe exact date of spraying is determined on the basis of the observation of the growth rate of trees

Remember that cherry spraying should be supported with other care treatments, such as fertilization and pruning, which also affect the condition and he alth of the tree as well as the quality and abundance of the crop.
What to spray cherries with?
Diseases that most often attack cherries are: leaf perforation, brown rot of stone trees and fine leaf spot in stone trees.
In the case of brown rot of stone trees or small leaf spots of stone trees, spray the cherries with Topsin M 500 SC. An ecological alternative to Topsin are spraying with yarrow extract (diluted 1:10) or field horsetail (1: 4). Horseradish spraying is also very helpful (extract or decoction is used). You can also reach for ready-made preparations based on natural ingredients, e.g. Lecitec.
It is also recommendedautumn spraying against fine leaf blotch of stone treeswith 5% urea solution. We do it after the first frost, but just before all the leaves fall off. After harvesting for fine spots, you can also spray Syllit 65WP.
The pests that attack cherriesare: Tarrhea seedwort and stone flowerpot. In the phase of bud swelling (February-March)spray the cherries with oil preparationsEmulpar 940 EC or Promanal 60 EC. They destroy the wintering stages of pests, which will significantly reduce the occurrence of harmful insects during the growing season.Among chemical plant protection products, in the fight against pests of cherry trees, Mospilan 20 SP turns out to be the most effective, which we use preventively in the leafless period on blackthorn moth and as an intervention after the appearance of feeding symptoms of other pests.
