Recipe for a decoction of rhubarb leaves

Ingredients for rhubarb leaf decoction:

  • 10-15 liters of water.

Preparation of the stock:

  3. Then we cool it, leaving it to cool down.
  4. Drain the whole thing and pour the stock into the sprinkler.
  5. We do not dilute for both spraying and watering.
  6. Perfect for protection against caterpillars and beetroot aphids.
  7. also applies to spider mites - just spray in full sun to increase the effect.

Recipe for rhubarb slurry

Ingredients for rhubarb slurry:

  • 2 kilograms of rhubarb,
  • 15 liters of water.

Manure preparation:

  1. Finely chop the leaves and green parts of the rhubarb.
  2. Transfer to a larger jar or barrel.
  3. Pour water over it and let it sit for a week or two.
  4. When using it to strengthen plants, do not dilute the mixture.
  5. When spraying, it is effective against spider mites - use in a 1: 5 ratio.
  6. The liquid manure prepared in this way not only strengthens, but also scares away snails.
  7. Pour the liquid manure between the rows of vegetables - both in the ground and in raised beds.

Rhubarb slurry spraying must be done in moderate weather - in hot weather it is not recommended.
