The lawn and the dog

Table of contents

Canine activity is most noticeable on thelawnIn areas watered with urine, yellow spots with a distinct border of dark green grass appear. In turn the claws tearturffrom the ground. This is especially easy onrolled grasslands , from which whole patches break off.

Here are some of my advice for pet owners:

  • We choose a mixture ofgrassesresistant to trampling, intended for intensive use.
  • The soil should be carefully prepared before sowing. It must contain a significant amount of sand or fine gravel (even 70-80%) and be rolled - then it is difficult to dig up.
  • It is important to clean the dog droppings regularly andwater the lawn- this is how we flush the urine of the animals.
  • Let's not forget aboutfertilization , especially when the turf grows on ground with a high content of gravel or sand.
