There are plenty of original nooks in my garden. One of them is a rockery decorated in a Mediterranean climate. I placed the rock garden at the entrance to the plot, so it can be a surprise for the guests.
Substrate
The ground for the rockery was well drained. Under the layer of stones, I put a perforated PVC foil that limits the growth of weeds. The basic material here is washed gravel (small pebbles) and beach sand. There are also larger, decorative boulders that give this place its character.
Plantings
The most important things in my rockery are my plants - yucca, bamboo, rough, date palm and agaves. Soon I plan to plant new species, including prickly pears.
