Plants that reduce pressure

Probiotic foods

In China and Japan, when someone is sick, he directs his first steps to probiotic food stores. They sell foods that have clinically proven he alth-promoting effects. We do not have such stores in Poland, but since I started to deal with hypertension, I have changed my diet dramatically.

I increased my consumption of raw vegetables, fruits and juices. The high amounts of potassium in tomatoes, Brussels sprouts, bananas, peaches and black currants are said to help lower blood pressure. However, we will improve the condition of our blood vessels by eating plants rich in flavonoids - spinach, broccoli, onions, cabbage, celery, lettuce, tomatoes, citrus fruits, plums, cherries and grapes.

What foods to avoid in case of hypertension?I try to exclude s alt, fatty meats and animal fats from my diet. I also avoid hard margarines and butter mixes. Nickel, which is dangerous for our body, is used to harden them. Real butter is definitely he althier. However, it is important to use it in moderation and where possible, replace it with olive oil or another oil.

Greek cuisine for hypertensionMy daughter once took me to Greece as a reward for taking care of her grandson. I was laughing that I wanted to change my eating habits. It was only there that I tried home-made fresh bread with olive oil, served with feta cheese, tomatoes and arugula - simply a delicacy. I also became a fan of Greek salads with lots of garlic. It's hard to believe that I used to eat a lot of cold cuts, pates, canned food, and the soup was always seasoned with roux.

Celery in the fight against hypertensionI got a book on Chinese medicine for my birthday.I read that in the case of hypertension, it is recommended to eat a lot of celery, especially drinking the juice squeezed out of it. From then on, I dice the celery in my soup to eat it. When it was in a piece, I threw it in the trash. In this book, they also recommend eating large amounts of onions, garlic, carrots, and hawthorn fruit. I also found out that drinking half a cup of green tea for at least a year lowers the risk of high blood pressure by almost half!
