We have already had our plot of land for 12 years. It is located about 15 km from Głogów, next to the town of Kulów (ROD "Przylesie"). It was in a deplorable condition when we bought it. Heaps of rubbish, couch grass, waste. We got to work right away. My husband put a lot of heart into this place. Besides, she loves flowers, which she plants more and more. He also often gives gardening advice to his neighbors. Our plot is fully developed. We also have a pond with colorful crucians and carps. We also have nesting boxes. Birds find their home there every year. My husband Ryszard did everything on the plot. He's a real handyman. In spring, we always collect nettle and horsetail for fertilizer.Then we water the flowers with it and use it for spraying. We have a few apple trees, pear trees, plums and raspberries, blackberries, blueberries and gooseberries on the plot.
In 2006, we won the first place in the ROD "Przylesie" competition inan exemplary plot and third place in Głogów poviat to the "Ecological model allotment garden". However, in 2007, in the same competition, we took second place in the poviat. We are, of course, very proud of these awards because our work has been recognized.
