When I started my first job, I fell into the trap of stuffing my stomach with just anything. The effects did not take long to come. Eating fatty foods and sweets made me feel heavy. Extra pounds appeared.I decided to recover my old figure only after the birth of my child.

I learned from a friend that some vegetables strengthen the body's immunity and have anti-cancer properties.They also help to get rid of toxins that are harmful to the body.

Rich in fiber

Carrots, celery, parsley and cruciferous vegetables contain fiber, which makes you feel full and regulates your intestines. Parsnips contain the most of it. Cucumbers, zucchini, melons and watermelons, which have a diuretic effect, were also helpful in my diet. In the spring, it is also worth planting rhubarb and fresh beetroot. They are great at detoxifying and cleansing the body after winter. My mom taught me to eat boiled rhubarb. Hot water breaks down the oxalic acid it contains, which forms kidney stones.

Vegetables all year round

In my garden I have a greenhouse where I sow arugula, lamb's lettuce and butter lettuce for the winter. Today, rocket with dried tomatoes and feta cheese is my favorite dish. In spring I like to add young dandelion, chives, watercress and chervil leaves to salads.

Herbal teas

When I was slimming, I drank teas and decoctions of dandelion root, couch grass rhizome, yarrow herb, tricolor violet, buckthorn bark and linden flower. In between meals, I usually nibbled on pumpkin and sunflower seeds. I encourage you to change your diet in the spring. Thanks to this, we will feel light, young and - most importantly - we will not get sick!
