Wood ash - a valuable fertilizer
Ash from trunks of deciduous trees is an excellent fertilizer and a plant protection agent that is worth using, especially if we have a wood-fired kitchen or a fireplace. You can also get ash by burning cut branches in the garden.
- Wood ash has many valuable ingredients. The potassium content is especially valuable during the flowering of plants and fruit setting.
- I use ash as fertilizer fortomatoesand strawberries. They also grow well after using itonionandgarlic .
- It's best to mix it with the soil. Additionally, it will have a de-acidifying effect.
- I also pour ash on the feeding sites of snails. This scares them off.
