Bed cleaning
When you finish growing vegetables, clean the fields carefully and remove plant residues - he althy ones should be composted, and those affected by diseases should be burned.
Storage
Collected vegetables for storage must be he althy, reasonably clean (unwashed) and properly cooled. We store them in mounds or boxes with moist sand.
Organic fertilization
Before the onset of frost, do not forget to process compost, spread manure and dig green manure.
Speeding vegetables
You can start rushing chives, parsley and chicory after about three weeks of rest.
Preparation of the seedbed
The soil for the seedbed, as well as for the low tunnels, should be well protected against freezing. For protection, it should be covered with straw.
