WE FEED THE PLANTS.
The more the plants are watered and the more often they need to be fertilized, because some of the nutrients are washed away. It is safer for plants to feed more often with low concentration fertilizer solutions (0.15-0.2%) than from time to time with higher concentration fertilizers. Feed the plants less intensively at the beginning and at the end of the growing season.
EASY WATER.
The plants in the containers should be watered almost every day, but there are several ways to reduce the frequency of watering:
1. The use of hydrogels that retain water in the substrate. How to use: mix the preparation with the substrate in appropriate proportions before planting the plants or pour hydrogel granules into the holes in the substrate and water abundantly.
2. Place a funnel (or even a few) in the base of the pots and pour water into it. This will ensure even distribution and penetration of water into the substrate.
3. In gardening stores, we can buy drip sets (water distributor, mini pump and thin tubes), which are placed in the ground next to each plant.
4. You can also buy a modern irrigation system consisting of an electronic controller and a substrate moisture sensor, dotting lines and drippers that stick into the substrate.
